The Big Egg Hunt
Posted in Family, Inspiration, London on 04/14/2012 02:42 pm by MayaBComing Easter this year, we’ve had the most amazing egg hunt here in London, so amazing that it actually broke Guinness World Records attempt for the most entrants in an egg hunt competition ever! The Big Egg Hunt was a plan hatched by Elephant Family and Action for Children to raise money for their causes engaging the whole city in exiting interactivity as well. Over 200 uniquely crafted eggs, created by leading artists, designers, architects and jewellers, was hidden across the capital to be hunted down. When the hunt was over, all the gorgeous eggs were put on an impressive display in Covent Garden, for everyone to enjoy.

Denne påska hadde vi den mest fantastiske eggjakta her i London, så fantastisk at den faktisk slo Guiness rekorden i eggjakt med flest deltakere noen sinne! The Big Egg Hunt er en idé klekket ut av organisasjonene Elephant Family og Action for Children for å samle inn midler til sine respektive saker gjennom å engasjere hele byen. Mer enn 200 unike egg, laget av kunstnere, designere, og arkitekter, ble gjemt rundt om kring i London for å bli funnet av byens innbyggere. One of the artists being invited to participate, creating an egg, was my dear friend Rolando Di Sessa Neto. Rolando has been drawing his whole life, he has been working with cartoons, children’s books, comics and he is the man behind my very special upper arm tattoo!
