We are supposed to design Aran-patches (30cm X 30cm) and send them in to the administrator, Marit. She will turn the patches into an afghan. The final result will be auctioned and the income will go to the fight against Breast Cancer. The patches will be put up for a vote at the forum with prizes for the most beautyful patches. I&#8217;ve used the opportunity to learn how to knit cables, and I&#8217;m very proud to show off the first result. I kept the cables quite simple, and since I&#8217;m hooked on basketknitting these days, I included that technique in the pattern as well. The first picture show the whole patch before it&#8217;s been blocked and damped, the other is details of the pattern. The deadline for sending in the patches is on this Thursday, and I&#8217;m halfdone with a second patch which I will finish tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/img407.imageshack.us\/img407\/6486\/kagnaa1gz5.jpg\" alt=\"AKGNAA1\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/img484.imageshack.us\/img484\/1560\/kagnaa2fp5.jpg\" alt=\"AKGNAA2\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Jeg er med p\u00e5 GNAA p\u00e5 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hobbyforum.no\">Hobbyforum<\/a>, hvor vi skal designe lapper med flettem\u00f8nster. Resultatet skal bli et lappeteppe som Marit setter sammen, etter at vi har sendt lappene til henne. Teppet skal s\u00e5 auksjoneres bort til inntekt for kampen mot brystkreft. S\u00e5 blir det avstemning inne p\u00e5 forumet hvor den fineste lappen skal k\u00e5res. Jeg har benyttet anledningen til \u00e5 l\u00e6re meg flettestrikk, og jeg er stolt av mitt aller f\u00f8rste prosjekt. Jeg har holdt flettene veldig enkle, og siden jeg er hekta p\u00e5 kurvstrikk for tiden s\u00e5 m\u00e5tte ogs\u00e5 det bli med i m\u00f8nsteret. Syns at det er fint \u00e5 inkludere en gammelt norsk teknikk i et s\u00e5nt prosjekt, det st\u00e5r i stil med navnet. Det f\u00f8rste bildet viser hele lappen f\u00f8r blokking og damping, det neste viser detaljer fra m\u00f8nsteret.
