I\u2019m so exited! This Saturday I will have my debut as a stall keeper at Greenwich Market<\/a> in London. I\u2019ll bring all the yarns from Knit with attitude<\/a>, so if you are in the area please come around and have a look.<\/p>\n

This life-changing project with us moving to London really has its twists and turns. Right now it has me questioning everything I\u2019ve done and the possibilities that lies in the future. I have two major passions in my life (that is, except from my family, nothing can be compared to them), and that is documentary films and knitting. My profession and education is within media production, and I always pictured myself struggling to make a living as a filmmaker. My plan was to start job-hunting for media jobs as soon as I got to London, but now it looks like my life is taking a different turn as I\u2019m pursuing my yarn shop. Actually, for me, those two areas of profession is not that far apart. Knitting has become an expression for my attitudes and involvement in environmental and political issues, and at the moment I actually feel that I get to say more through my attitudes about knitting and yarn than what I would trying to get a job within media in London. Well, time will show…<\/p>\n

Jeg er s\u00e5 spent! P\u00e5 l\u00f8rdag debuterer jeg som innehaver av en bod p\u00e5 Greenwich Market<\/a> i London. Jeg skal ha med meg garnet som jeg f\u00f8rer i Knit with attitude<\/a>, s\u00e5 hvis du er p\u00e5 Londontur er det bare \u00e5 komme innom. <\/p>\n

Dette livsomveltende prosjektet, at vi flyttet til London, ser ut til \u00e5 ta uante og nye vendinger. Akkurat n\u00e5 har det f\u00f8rt til at jeg stiller sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5lstegn ved det jeg har gjort tidligere, og pr\u00f8ver \u00e5 finne ut av hvilke muligheter som \u00e5penbarer seg for fremtiden. Jeg har to store lidenskaper i livet mitt (utenom familien min da, ingenting kan sammenlignes med dem), dokumentarfilm og strikking. Jeg er utdannet innenfor og har arbeidet med film produksjon hele mitt voksne liv, og har alltid sett for meg en fremtid som filmskaper. Planen var \u00e5 lete etter mediejobber s\u00e5 snart jeg kom til London, men n\u00e5 ser det ut som om livet mitt er i ferd med \u00e5 ta en annen retning ettersom utviklingen av garnbutikken ser til \u00e5 skyte fart. Faktisk, slik jeg ser det s\u00e5 ligger strikking og dokumentarfilm produksjon som yrkesvalg ganske n\u00e6rt hverandre. Strikking har blitt en m\u00e5te for meg \u00e5 uttrykke mine holdninger innen politikk og milj\u00f8, og for \u00f8yeblikket s\u00e5 f\u00f8ler jeg kanskje at jeg f\u00e5r sagt mer gjennom \u00e5 forf\u00f8lge garnbutikken, enn jeg ville gjennom en tilfeldig mediejobb her i London.
