The world according to MayaB

There is this brilliant initiative launching this week end, and I’m so lucky to be part of it!
A group of independent craft collectives have joined forces to promote crafts at the Mayor’s Thames Festival along the Southbank on 10th and 11th September 2011. 
A Craft Trail has been developed, which allows visitors to follow a map to discover the huge variety of handmade goods on offer, learn more about the processes behind the making of them and, most importantly, have some fun along the way! If you’re lucky you might even get a goodie bag filled with lovely crafty stuff! For all information needed, and to download the map, please visit the Craft Trail.
Knit with attitude is collaborating with the ever so talented Tanya, the woman behind Strikk Handknits, and we’ll be there with a stall packed with everything knitting! You can find us at the Sannapanda camp in the Craft HQ, just follow the map. So if you happen to be in London, do come by and say hello!

Ulike kollektiv av uavhengige kunstnere og håndverkere har gått sammen for å promotere sine arbeider under
the Mayor’s Thames Festival 10. og 11. september. En håndverks løype har blitt utviklet i form av et nydelig illustrert kart, hvor man ved å følge dette kan få innblikk i hva som blir laget, hvordan dette skjer og også få prøve selv underveis. Hvis du er heldig kan du også ende opp med å få en “goodie bag” fyllt med herlige saker. På the Craft Trail sidene finner du all informasjon du trenger, og også et nedlastbart kart i stor størrelse.
